Seattle Bride Magazine Best Photographer 2023

'Tis the season! Voting is now OPEN until February 9th, 2023. Every year, Seattle Bride Magazine hosts this competition and gathers votes to determine the "best of" each wedding vendor category. My name is in the running for the title, Best Photographer 2023. When voting is closed and the ballots are read, they host a big celebration where they officially announced all of the winners!

What an absolute honor it would be to be chosen as Seattle Bride Magazine best photographer 2023. Previously, I've been featured in TWO ISSUES of Seattle Bride Magazine. It literally feels like a dream come true to see my work in print. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share the love stories I document, and to have them recognized in such a popular magazine is an indescribable feeling!

Seattle Bride Magazine Best Photographer 2023

I have had the honor to work with MANY talented Seattle-based wedding vendors. I understand that every vote counts. With that, I want to ensure that you can fill out multiple categories on this list to help support the incredible business owners to deserve the recognition and celebration too! I am always one to want to share the love! But if you want to skip that and simply vote for me as Best Photographer 2023, you can absolutely do that too.

As always, I'm sharing my picks for some of the categories in case you're looking for some guidance. Please note that I'm not here to sway your vote at all, it's just a way for me to help in case you're unfamiliar but don't want to leave these spaces blank. I will forever be a small business who loves to support other small businesses. This is one way I like to do that.

  • Emerald Engagements, Carly officially launched her own business at the end of 2019. She battled through the pandemic with a brand new business and has been KILLIN' IT. Her and her team's ultimate goal is to help your ideas become a reality to create the wedding of your dreams. Check out what we created together in 2020 when the wedding industry started to take a huge pivot towards micro weddings.
  • Gian Events, the queen herself has entered the chat, friend. These girls loves to design glamorous events, filled with sparkle, lights and dazzling details to create jaw-dropping reactions by the guests and the client.
  • Simply Planned Events, Hannah is great to work with! Her goal is to make everything easy for her couples - and you KNOW how much I vibe with that. The testimonials on her website showcase how smooth and easy the wedding planning process is for couples when they have Hannah and her team at their side!

My picks for Seattle Bride Magazine's Best of 2023:

Floral Designer:

  • Goldenrod Floral, Carlee creates gorgeous, whimsical floral designs that make me swoon. When I was planning my beloved 1970's styled shoot, I knew Carlee was my gal to make my dream a reality, and I wasn't wrong.
  • Love Leigh Blooms, "lovely blooms" by my girl Leigh. There are a few vendors who stand out to me by their hustle in the industry and Leigh is one of those vendors. I went from not knowing her to seeing her everywhere. When I got the chance to know her personally, we quickly became friends. She's out there making her dreams come true and I respect the hell out of that.
  • Tangled Roots Floral, Previously known as Bumblebee Bridal Works, who did the greenhouse styled shoot with me. Adina truly brought my "colorful winter" idea to life with stunning, colorful florals. She rebranded since then and has really honed in on her craft through the ever-changing wedding world. That's not an easy thing to do! I'm so proud of how far she's come.
  • Anthera Floral, I'm always excited to see what Melissa has next in her creative brain. Her work is led by color and texture, and inspired by the way flora naturally occurs and thrives in the wild
  • Love Blooms, I LOVE working a wedding and seeing Katrina (or someone from her team) arrive with a flower delivery. Always a fun surprise to see what they have created.
