Storytelling with intention, documenting a day that could only be yours.

Hi! I’m Taylor (she/her), owner of tmInspired Photography. I am a Seattle wedding photographer and lead photographer to my associate team documenting weddings across Washington, Oregon, and California. We photograph the day the way we would if we’d known your family for years.

Documentary storytelling for couples who plan with intention

We’re a Seattle wedding photography team built with an associate model we’ve trained and trusted since 2020. A decade full of intentional weddings later, we’ve learned that the images couples return to aren’t the posed ones. They’re the laugh during speeches, the look exchanged before a first dance, the guest quietly wiping a tear in the back row.

Our work sits where documentary meets refined. We direct when the image calls for it and step back when the moment is already happening on its own. We collaborate closely with your planner and your vendor team because the day works better when everyone is reading from the same page.

The result is a gallery that looks like your wedding actually was. Not a styled version of it. Not someone else’s aesthetic. Yours.

The Experience

Your wedding day should feel like the most epic celebration of your love. Here’s how we help make that happen:

The weddings that suit us best tend to share a feeling more than a style. The relationship at the center feels like home, and the day is built around the people who make it that way. Guest count matters less than intention. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a few hundred people, the ones we love most read as unmistakably theirs, shaped by the couple rather than a template, and centered on being present with the people they love.

We work in a documentary style, guided when it helps. We watch light and composition throughout, then step back so the real moments can happen on their own. Most of what we do is anticipate. We read the room, we watch for what’s about to happen, and we’re there for the moments that feel like home rather than a wedding. The quiet, unscripted ones that end up mattering most.

Every wedding we take on is photographed to the same standard, whether that’s Taylor behind the camera or one of our associate photographers. Our team is hand trained and matched to your day, so the coverage feels seamless no matter who documents it. When you book a Seattle wedding photographer with us, you get one team, one eye, and one way of seeing.

This is the part we think about the most. Not th This is the part we think about the most.

Not the dress or the flowers (though we love those too). But it’s the moment a grandfather gets pulled into a hug and forgets anyone is watching. The friends who flew in. The parents who have known this day was coming for decades and are finally in it.

What a truly special day it is.

A wedding is one of the only times everyone a couple loves is in the same room at the same time. It almost never happens again. So we spend the day watching for it. The tears during a toast, the dance floor that fills and never empties, the two people who slip away for a second and then get folded right back into the crowd.

This is what it is about. Your favorite people, your favorite day, all of it happening at once. We are just there to make sure you get to keep it.

Nobody wanted to sit down. The dance floor was on Nobody wanted to sit down.

The dance floor was on the water, the skyline was doing its thing behind them, and their favorite people showed up ready to celebrate. A day like this feels like a reunion first and a wedding second.

Kendra and JC’s wedding was unmistakably theirs. Those are the weddings we love the most.

As wedding photographers, we spend most of the day directing and then the rest of the day anticipating. We are always reading the room, watching for what might happen, and making sure we are in position when it does. The blurred photo is one of our favorite frames from the night, and it was not on anyone’s shot list.

Intention. The word a lot of our couples use to de Intention. The word a lot of our couples use to describe their plan for their wedding day. They want to be intentional about the details, the flow and the experience of their guests. They want to fuse in moments and little details that celebrate their love story and this next chapter.

And they want a photographer who approaches their day with intention, too.

To anticipate moments, to be intentional in composition, lighting, angles and storytelling. To guide and direct a wedding day without overstepping, allowing real moments to unfold. To celebrate trends and styles but will choose to put more emphasis on what will be timeless.

Wedding photos are the first heirlooms you will pass down to the next generations. Let us celebrate that with the intentionality you deserve.

STORY TIME 14 years ago, I photographed my first STORY TIME

14 years ago, I photographed my first solo wedding.

I was 20 years old and had 2 years of wedding experience, but never as a lead. The clients knew this, agreed to this, and I charged them $500 for a full 8 hour day (just so it wasn’t “free”)

And in the end… they hated the photos.

The bride described herself as very expressive. Asked for multiple re-edits, expected photos we did not discuss prior (They were not industry standard photos, but my inexperience showed in how I handled her expectations), and nearly asked for a refund.

I almost quit wedding photography all together.

Maybe I wasn’t cut out for this.

But I persevered and I’m so glad I did. My second couple was an absolute BLESSING. Their wedding was the experience I once wished I had instead for the start of my career.

But now I think otherwise.

There is no way to redo a wedding and I’ve never taken that lightly. For years, I felt shame over these photos.

But I have a new understanding of it all now and appreciate how much I’ve grown.

I actually think I did a pretty good job, too, all things considered (shall I list all the things I had to pivot through, like my 2nd photographer I hired to help me who left during dinner without notice??)

I’m sad that they were unhappy, but I’m still grateful for the experience.

This is a passion that runs so deep that even when I crashed and burned that first time, I got up and did it again.

I worked harder, communicated better, became more prepared.

I learned from every lesson in which I failed.

A lot of my journey has been exciting. But most of it hasn’t been easy… it’s been earned.

I love this industry down to my bones.

Now, when June 23rd rolls around, I’m not haunted by the memories of failure. Instead, I’m reminded of the resilience I see in this industry, and also in myself. 💛
