Oregon Coast Photographer
Todd reached out to me about his plan to propose to Michael while they took a trip to the Oregon Coast.
They had an entire trip planned out and he shared with me their itinerary. When discussing his top priorities of where he would like to propose, I was able to give him some great choices.
Together, we secretively emailed back and forth to find the perfect spot. He ultimately wanted a place with a really great view. He wanted to be able to have a slight variety of photos too.
For the ask, Todd let me know that he wanted to be up above sea level for that stunning view the coast provides. For the engagement photos to follow, he loved the idea of heading down to touch the sand. After showing him a few options that I had in mind, we settled on the beauty of Cannon Beach. From there, we got it settled on my books and awaited the greatest day to come!
Cannon Beach is actually my favorite place in the world. Any excuse to get me to go to the coast, I'll take it! I've had the honor of documenting a few elopements and other proposals like this one, as well as engagement sessions! I honestly can't get enough of the beauty that the Oregon Coast has to offer. It truly is a magical place.

The proposal was so sweet and Michael was absolutely surprised. These moments of engagement are so precious to be a part of. They are a huge reminder of why I love what I get to do for work.
After the big ask, it was time to celebrate! We popped some champagne and use true vintage glasses that I picked up from a local Seattle vintage shop on Etsy: Gewgaw Vintage
Right at sunset, we made our way down to the beach to play in the light of the sunset. Michael and Todd are so playful and full of life. I wanted to make sure their photos celebrated their personalities and their relationship.
And if I might say, I think we definitely nailed it. They're freaking ADORABLE.
