Colorful Almquist Winery Wedding | Styled Shoot with Antonio & Brooke

If you’re dreaming of having the best of both worlds with an urban wedding that also gives you a secluded spot among lots of lush greenery, Almquist Winery is the place for you! Antonio and Brooke joined me and a host of other talented wedding vendors to put together a colorful, vibrant styled ceremony to show off the beauty of this Seattle wedding venue and showcase what a non-traditional wedding might look like! 

A Colorful Ceremony at Almquist Winery

Almquist Winery is a near-perfect wedding venue in Seattle. In the Pacific Northwest, especially close to the coast, having a flexible indoor-outdoor location that gives you options is a great way to go. Almquist Winery has a greenhouse (where we shot our ceremony), a winery, distillery, restaurant, outdoor green space, and a bar. You can have a small gathering here or a more expanded reception for everyone in your life! 

For this styled wedding, we opted for a blend of elegant and casual, and if I do say so myself, it turned out absolutely perfect. Brooke wore a light pink gown, which was such an amazing look. More not-white wedding dresses, please! To compliment her, Antonio wore a wool green suit jacket and khaki pants. The colors of their wedding attire popped perfectly with the vibrant florals, and the splashes of blue in the cake and tablecloths. Rain or shine, the greenhouse is such a perfect space for a wedding. Joy and sunlight filled the space on this day!

We held a private ceremony for Antonio and Brooke among the wine barrels. And even though this couple is not really married, and this celebration was staged, the emotion that overwhelmed Antonio when Brooke walked down the aisle was the sweetest moment of the entire day. There is SO much love between these two, and I loved that we were able to give them an opportunity to bask in it!
