What detail of your wedding so far has been the most fun to plan? Whatever the answer is, make room for a new favorite — shopping for your attire! This can be such a cool part of planning your celebration. Picturing how your partner will react when they see you, trying on a ton of fun styles you never would have thought of, seeing your friends or family ooh and ahh over your choices in the shop… And of course, as with everything now that the internet is at our fingertips, shopping for the dress can still get overwhelming and stressful. Seattle has some amazing choices, so I put together a list of the top Seattle wedding dress shops to help you find the right fit!
Whether it’s you, your partner, or both of you hoping to find the dress that makes your heart sing, this list will cover tons of different styles and choices, and I’ve even included a few online retailers and rental shops!
Seattle Wedding Dress Shops
Blue Sky Bridal
Blue Sky Bridal is the Pacific Northwest’s largest bridal consignment store! They carry new, sample, and once-worn dresses to make your Seattle wedding dress the perfect combination of affordable and eco-conscious. Prices range from $500 to $5,000, and sizing ranges from 00 to 28.

The Dress Theory
Seattle is one of three locations where you can shop for a wedding dress from The Dress Theory. They describe their dress options as modern, romantic, free-spirited, bohemian, and eclectic. They also only source dresses from designers with fair practices, so any wedding dress you find at their Seattle store is going to be designed without cutting corners or taking advantage of laborers. Prices here range from $1,800 to $9,500.
The White Door Bridal
This wedding dress shop is located in Tacoma. They carry independent designer brands so you can find a dress that stands out and feels like you. They describe their selections as chic, modern, and fashion-forward. Their dresses range from about $1,800 to $6,000.
Brides for a Cause
Brides for a Cause sells their dresses for charity. They collect wedding dresses and sell them to donate profits. So far, they’ve donated close to $1.5 million! Because their business model functions more like a consignment store, accepting styles no more than 5 years old, there’s no telling what kind of amazing styles you might find here. Their prices start at $150, and most dresses fall in the $700 range.

Romashka Bridal
This Seattle-area wedding dress shop is located in Everett! The cost of dresses here ranges from $900 to $2,500. They offer in-house alterations, and you can purchase something designer or right off the rack!
Evergreen Bridal Studio
This is another gem in Tacoma! They are by-appointment-only to give you a super personalized experience, and carry a lot of choices in a variety of styles to help you find the one that feels best to you. Plus, for every gown purchased, they plant a tree in your name through One Tree Planted. They have dresses for under $1,000, all the way to around $5,000.

Something Blue Bridal Boutique
Something Blue offers dresses for your Seattle-area wedding anywhere from $800 to $2,800. They carry sample sizes from 10-28, though most are 10-14. Their website states that they are hard at work getting a more varied range of plus sizes as well. They currently carry 4 modern designers.
I Do Bridal
I Do Bridal has been serving the Seattle area for over 25 years now, and they carry more than 800 dresses in their collection to help you find the right one. The dresses range from $800 to $15,000 depending on your budget and favorite designer. Their sample sizes are from a 4 to 28, and you can order your dress in even more sizes. Before your appointment with them, you’ll be able to browse the inventory online to get a head start on the styles you like!
Embrace Bridal
Embrace Bridal is Seattle’s only exclusively plus-size wedding dress shop! They carry sizes 14 and up. Prices here range from $800 to $3,000.
A & Be Bridal
A & Be carries modern, romantic, classic, and trendsetting wedding dresses ranging from $1,200 to $3,000. Their collection currently ranges from size 6 to 22. They carry so many amazing designers, so finding the right dress here for your Seattle wedding should be fun and easy!

A Wedding Dress You Can Rent for Your Seattle Wedding
Renting your wedding dress or buying second hand is actually a great option. Considering that you’ll likely only be wearing it one time, renting is a great way to allocate your wedding budget to other things, like your honeymoon or reception. This article gives you some great tips for why you might want to rent instead of buy, and some best practices to make sure you’re still getting the dress you want. Here’s a few of my recommendations for where to rent:
Rent the Runway
Rent the Runway has a monthly membership option for clothing rental, or one-time options for things like renting your wedding dress. For a one-time rental, you can choose a 4 or 8 day rental window. Your return label is prepaid, and this option has a great sustainable model for re-using clothes instead of seeing them waste away in the back of a closet or landfill. Rent the Runway has some really fun alternative wedding dress styles, including fun pops of color, short dresses, etc.

Borrowing Magnolia
Borrowing Magnolia offers options specifically for weddings, as opposed to Rent the Runway, which also offers everyday clothing. They have wedding dresses and gowns for your wedding party members. Since this site has pre-owned dresses from previous wearers, the sky's the limit for your options!
Stillwhite
Stillwhite donates 1% of their revenue to carbon removal efforts. Yay, sustainability! You’ll find lots of modern designers at Stillwhite. And, some of the dresses here are even brand new! There are 116 countries who contribute to the inventory on Stillwhite, so you’re bound to find something you love at a friendlier price point.

Dare and Dazzle
You can rent your Seattle wedding dress or buy one secondhand from Dare and Dazzle. You can book a virtual consultation to find the right fit, and then you’ll have your dress for 10 days to wear before returning. Of course, if you’re buying secondhand, there’s no need to return! And, you don’t even need to worry about cleaning it before you send it back. Dare and Dazzle will get everything taken care of!
A Wedding Dress You Can Buy Online for Your Seattle Wedding
If rentals, secondhand options, or any local stores aren’t really sparking your interest, I do have a few final online retailers where you can find a modern wedding dress. These are my personal faves for the online wedding dress market!
Dalliance Bespoke
These are one-of-a-kind, handmade dresses. Renting dresses from Dalliance is only available for photoshoots, not events, but buying a dress from Michelle is a choice you won’t regret. Each one is custom made to fit your measurements. These are elegant, flowy designs that are just jaw-dropping!
BHLDN
BHLDN is an offshoot of Anthropologie, offering wedding dresses, wedding party dresses, and other wedding accessories and decor. You can even find something to wear here as a wedding guest! They do have a store in Seattle bundled with the Anthropologie store, but online is bound to give you more choices.

We Are Reclamation
Another handmade specialty option, We Are Reclamation is the definition of dreamy and ethereal! Their dresses are more budget friendly than a lot of popular designers carried by local shops.

And there you have it! The top Seattle wedding dress shops, plus a couple alternative options to rent, buy second hand, or shop online. Buying your wedding dress should be a fun process, and you deserve to find something that makes you feel confident and beautiful! Whether that’s a dress or something else, you’re going to stun on your wedding day, and I can’t wait to see you! Reach out to me here to book me as your Seattle wedding photographer.
