Winter Proposal at Multnomah Falls

Proposal season is upon us! When Steven decided to propose to Lauren during their visit to Multnomah Falls from Texas, he didn’t anticipate the unpredictable weather of the Pacific Northwest. Thankfully, we’re always prepared as PNW photographers. Whether you’re getting engaged in a rose garden or on the coast! My associate photographer, Dani, captured the magical proposal. But, even as the couple found themselves amidst a torrential downpour, they had a great time.

Multnomah Falls Proposal

Dani, prepared for any weather scenario, strategically positioned herself near the falls, ready to seize the perfect moment. Steven, playing it cool, approached Dani for what seemed like a routine photo with his phone. Unknowingly to Lauren, he set the stage for the surprise proposal.

Dani smoothly introduced her camera into the mix, and created the ideal distraction for Steven to pop the question. The plan executed flawlessly, leaving Lauren speechless and overjoyed as she said yes against the breathtaking backdrop of Multnomah Falls.

Columbia Gorge Couple’s Session

Following the proposal, the adventurous couple embraced the elements, eagerly venturing into the Columbia Gorge for additional engagement photos. Despite the adverse weather conditions, Dani worked efficiently, capturing stunning shots that encapsulated the couple’s love and spontaneity.
