It’s my favorite time of year! Voting for the Washington Wedding Day Best Photographer of 2025 is LIVE!
Manifesting my win of the Washington Wedding Day Best Photographer of 2025 award. Last year, I received the incredible honor of being a top 3 finalist to Washington Wedding Day’s “best of” awards for 2024. I was voted top 3 wedding photographers in Washington State! This year, I have a deeper desire to officially claim the winning title, and I need your help.
Voting one just opened today for everyone to cast ballots on their favorite wedding vendors throughout Washington. The first round of voting will end on February 2nd. In February, they’ll do a second round of voting for vendors only. In July, they’ll be hosting their annual award gala and officially announce all of the winners!

Washington Wedding Day Best Photographer of 2025
A few things stand out in my career as a wedding photographer in Seattle, WA. One of those being my very first feature in a Seattle Bride Magazine (now known as Washington Wedding Day). I remember crying in the car at a Barnes and Noble reviewing my publication and realizing that one of my dreams came true. As you may have gathered, I definitely didn’t stop there. I have more dreams to accomplish and gaining that Washington Wedding Day Best Photographer of 2025 title is one yet to be claimed by my name.
In 2023 my husband Nathan, owner of Ochoa Films, was a top 3 finalist for Best Videographer! INCREDIBLE, right?? Like me, fell short of the main title, and that’s just an indicator that EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

As a wedding photographer, we focus so much on telling the story that is unfolding in front of us. We try to create space where our clients can feel like themselves. We want to allow their authenticity in real moments shine through. 100% of time, we are intentional in each moment we capture. To be recognized in a contest like this that celebrates wedding vendors who work so so hard at what they do, and are all so wildly talented, is quite the honor. A lot of us feel like moments like these are only made for us in our dreams. Will you help me achieve this dream?
Remember, every vote counts, and each person can only vote one time.
Because of this, I want to make sure I can share the love to all of these other amazing small businesses who deserve the recognition, too! If you have the time, I ask that you fill out multiple categories when you vote. Below you’ll find my top picks for some of the categories in the competition. In case you need some additional guidance! I’m not doing this to sway your vote or to rig this competition at all, promise. Just helping spread the love.

Incredible weddings happen because of the incredible teams behind them.
You can use my list below to help in your decision. Who might deserve the recognition and added celebration this year? That choice is totally up to YOU. I know some of you may only have a quick moment and can only put in your vote for someone you already know (which is why you might be here right now). That’s totally okay!!
If that’s you, feel free to scroll right on to the Photographer categories. You can simply put your vote in for me, tmInspired Photography and if you want to go a step further, you can vote for my husband, Ochoa Films for best Videographer.

It was a dream of mine to be surrounded by fellow creatives, pursuing this passion of ours that runs deep into our core. Look, 18 year old me. We did it. I know that version of me would be so proud.
