





It can be hard to know where to start in your wedding planning journey. With my long-term experience as a Seattle wedding photographer, I’ve gotten to know many of the venues in the area. To give you a snapshot of a bunch of Seattle Wedding Venues in one place, and to showcase their capacity as well as some real-life examples of weddings, here is a page dedicated to all that information!
I love all of these venues for different reasons so it’s difficult for me to “rank them” in any particular order. I encourage you to check out each venue directly online, as I’ve linked to each one for your convenience. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

WithinSodo is a versatile event space with modern and beautiful design. From a giant warehouse event space to the rooftop with a view of the Seattle skyline, there are many options to make this Seattle venue meet your dreams.

Capacity: Total allowed capacity is 625 – 450 downstairs and 175 upstairs




Sodo Park features large open spaces with soaring, rustic ceilings and exposed beams. Seemingly, the perfect place for featuring live ceilings and romantic lighting. Also, this Seattle venue is owned by Landmark Event Co. and features the delicious food by Herban Feast.
Capacity: For a seated reception, 300 people.

This Seattle wedding venue has many unique spaces for different aspects of your wedding from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, or even a rehearsal dinner space. Whether you choose their grand ballroom or the Halo Bar, each space has beautiful architecture and plenty of space for your event.
Capacity: From 12-806, depending on which room you choose at their venue.


This large, open Seattle event venue features red and white brick, and lots of windows for natural light. This is the perfect canvas to design the wedding of your dreams. Or, if you’re looking for an event space for your rehearsal dinner, this has plenty of space to design from the ground up.

The Best Seattle Wedding Venues


A beautiful, premiere wedding venue in downtown Seattle near Pioneer Square. Significantly, this Seattle venue features stunning brick walls with interesting curved architecture. Perfect spot for getting those iconic shots in Occidental Square just around the corner!
Capacity: 400
From the Olympic Ballroom to the Terrace, this Seattle waterfront wedding venue has many options for any shape and size of wedding you want. With a stunning view of Puget Sound, and the elegance of an old, romantic hotel, by and by, you’ll find the wedding of your dreams.

This Seattle wedding and event venue is contemporary, chic, and cool. It features beautiful white brick walls with black accents. Then, a modern staircase brings you up from the bottom floor to the top wide-open space. For family portraits and some fresh air, they also have a stunning, modern courtyard attached to the top floor.
Capacity: 300 seated
The Penthouse of the Hotel Sorrento
This Seattle wedding venue is the height of luxury so it’s perfect for intimate micro weddings. While featuring a wet bar, elegant space, and cozy luxury, it barely needs more to give you everything you’d want in a small wedding day. Of course, it would make a great spot for a rehearsal dinner or bachelor party as well.

The Seattle Aquarium is one of the most unique, full-service facilities in the Seattle area and a wonderful waterfront treasure. Unquestionably, it’s not just a wedding venue, but an entire wedding experience. From a ceremony on the patio to cocktail hour among the tide pools and a reception against the wall of fish, every aspect of your wedding day will awe your guests.

As an old Foundry, this Fremont wedding venue holds all the charm and rustic vibes you could want in a wedding day. From their rooftop space which can hold your ceremony overlooking Fremont, to the intimate and interesting reception space, each space is primed for the florals and design of your vendor team.

Sunset Bay Lodge at the Ballard Elks
Affordable and diverse, this Seattle wedding venue features plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Also, they have a heated, covered patio, waterfront terrace and main lawn — all of which are amazing spaces to expand your function outdoors.

With a roaring 20’s art-deco vibe, this venue is a unique gem among Seattle wedding venues. Overlooking Lake Union, it has the perfect feel for your wedding day that will charm your guests. Particularly unique is a sunken dance floor in the center of the room which brings such a different aspect and charm to a wedding venue.
My experience there was one for the books!

Luxury at your fingertips. Indeed, every space of this premier Seattle wedding venue is gorgeous and curated to perfection. Stunning, old-world architecture and all the vibes of vintage Seattle. Moreover, it’s a perfect place for you and your guests to stay, or the perfect place to get ready if you’re having your wedding somewhere else.
Capacity: 650

Possibly the most unique wedding venue in Seattle. Once an old, private club, there is nothing that can properly prepare you to step into what looks like a warehouse from the outside. Inside, the walls are covered in extravagant designs and paints, chandeliers adorn the ceilings, every room is a new experience. Undoubtedly, your guests will be mesmerized by the event!

The last wooden ferry in Seattle, this boat stays docked on the Seattle’s Lake Union for your event. Certainly, with its signature center bar, polished wood floors, a large outdoor deck, and a postcard view of the Seattle skyline, the Skansonia is the embodiment of iconic Seattle.

The Best Seattle Wedding Venues
Indoor space inside a vintage home and outdoor lawn overlooking stunning views of Seattle, The Admiral’s House has rich history and epic views. Accordingly, this Seattle venue will amaze your guests as they sip champagne while seeing the Seattle skyline light up the night sky.

Bell Harbor International Conference Center
A stunning venue for any type of event, but if you’re looking for a large, open and recently renovated space that features sweeping views of the Seattle skyline, look no further! Also, This Seattle wedding and event space is right down town and is perfect for any local or to charm your out-of-town guests.

Offer your guests the city at their feet and the experience of roaming the galleries of the Pacific Northwest’s leading visual arts organization. Actually, The Seattle Art Museum is steps from the world-famous Pike Place Market, the Seattle waterfront, and most major hotels. Plus, Shooby Doo Catering offers full-service private dining and our grand, light-filled spaces accommodate large receptions.

Chihuly Garden and Glass offers a spectacular place to host your wedding. Visually stunning, the Exhibition features eight Galleries, the Garden with its beautiful landscaping and monumental sculptures and the centerpiece Glasshouse.

Their beautiful ballroom and elegant event spaces are perfect for any type of gathering – whether you’re entertaining a few guests or a few hundred. Although the Club is only a few miles from downtown Seattle, you’ll feel worlds away when visiting the lush gardens and exclusive waterfront.

Experience one of the most iconic and celebrated venues in Seattle, the Northern Lights Dome Room. With a spectacular stained-glass ceiling and exquisite ornamental architectural details, this room defines elegance and speaks to another era. Sweeping panoramas of Elliott Bay and Puget Sound as your backdrop – Four Seasons Hotel Seattle offers one of the city’s most exclusive vantage points for your wedding. Of course, the floor to ceiling windows create beautiful views and light. Not only that, but you have access to the terrace!

The Rainier Club clubhouse is one of the most elegant and unrivaled landmark mansions in the Pacific Northwest. From gold-leafed ceilings, grand staircases, and a myriad of crystal chandeliers allude to a special cachet offering unparalleled sophistication.

The Woodland Park Zoo’s unparalleled charm and natural beauty offers the perfect setting for green wedding ceremonies, receptions and rehearsal dinners. Plus, there are so many options for places to get married here! From the stunning rose garden to plenty of other lawns and pavilions. Some even feature exhibits! Located along Ballard Avenue within Hotel Ballard, the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion at Stoneburner has the idyllic urban wonderland experience perfect for your private event or wedding. Whether you want to walk around Ballard for portraits, or get stunning sunsets from the roof, this venue is perfect for mid-size or intimate weddings.

The best Seattle wedding venues for micro weddings and elopements:
Seems self-explanatory when you go to elope at the courthouse. What people may not realize is how beautiful the whole experience can be. Of course, I’ve got a lot of info on courthouse weddings in my blog, which you can check out. But depending on the date, time, and judge we’re assigned to, there’s the potential for getting married on the roof with Seattle as your backdrop. And, if that’s not in the cards, don’t worry, we’ll still get those stunning city portraits.


The Seasonal House is the main room in the Conservatory and offers a warm, lush, cozy environment for an intimate wedding ceremony for up to 25 people. This area is only available for ceremonies. So, if you’re wanting a reception as well, we’ll have to plan for a different location.

Court in the Square is a premiere Seattle event venue. It is conveniently located in the Pioneer Square neighborhood. Of course, it is the ideal setting for your wedding or event! It has the look and feel of being outside with the security of being indoors. Don’t fret, it’s changed hands but they’re excited to get the venue back up and running!



The Golden Gardens Bathhouse offers a spectacular waterfront location to host your next special event. While the Main Hall features a cathedral ceiling with many skylights that flood the room with natural light, the doors open up into the Golden Gardens park for peeks at nature.
Capacity: 140
