Janice and Roric’s Columbia Gorge engagement session was definitely one of my favorites. They’re planning their wedding at Mt. Hood for next July, but wanted engagement photos for the Save the Dates and invitations. When couples are debating having an engagement session or not, I always encourage it! There are so many different uses for engagement photos, so I was glad that J & R took advantage.
They said they wanted to go somewhere breathtaking for their session. And I knew exactly where to take them! We landed on the Oregon side of The Gorge, which is one of the most picturesque spots. It’s one of my favorites to shoot at, rain or shine. Luckily, this day we got shine.
For their Columbia Gorge engagement session, Janice decided to wear this beautiful, dark, floral Anthropologie dress. It could not have looked any better on her for the shoot. It matched the feel of The Gorge perfectly, I couldn’t stop obsessing over how good it looked. If you ever need advice as to what to wear for your engagement session, I have an entire blog talking about it here!
During their Columbia Gorge engagement session, we were able to all get to know each other a little better. We chatted about restaurants, favorite and not-so-favorite foods, and looking ahead toward their wedding day details. I can’t wait for their wedding next year.
PS – Can anyone connect me to Nicholas Sparks? I’ve got some new book covers for him thanks to this session ;)
