Lucy’s Garden Wedding | Lindsey & Zay

Portland Wedding

Lindsey & Zay’s Lucy’s Garden wedding was such a privilege to shoot. In my opinion, the venue they chose is one of Ridgefield’s best kept secrets. Lucy’s Garden doesn’t seem like much online, but in person, it’s one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever seen. And as you can see from the photos, Lindsey & Zay took full advantage of the venue and their photos came out beautifully.

Although the venue itself is beautiful, nothing would have come together like it did without the help of their wedding coordinator (and officiant!), Nicole Issler Events. Nicole did such an awesome job making sure that everything was picture-perfect for L & Z’s big day.

One of my favorite things about their Lucy’s Garden wedding was the fact that they had it in the spring, so the wildflowers were present and accounted for.  I wish everyone in Vancouver, WA could get married here and hire me to document it because it just made my heart so happy! Not only that, but Lucy’s Garden is a mom and pop venue, so you can really feel the homegrown aspect.

Lindsey & Zay’s ceremony was unbelievably pretty; the florals they used were out of this world. After the ceremony was over, we took some portraits in different spots at the venue. The happiness that L & Z radiated was so contagious, which made photographing them that much more fun. By the time we got to the reception, Stumptown DJ’s were ready for us! They kept the party going all night long, until we couldn’t dance any more.

I personally couldn’t help but drool over all the desserts that Chandelier Bakery made for the wedding. Between the cupcakes and the cake, I don’t know how everyone resisted as long as they did. Once L & Z cut the cake, we were all more than ready to partake.

In search of a Lucy's Garden wedding photographer?

At the end of the day, I had a fantastic time shooting their Lucy’s Garden wedding. It was so full of love and energy, and I wish them nothing but the best on their journey as a married couple. If you’d like to reach out and inquire about your wedding, I would love to hear from you. You can reach me by filling out my contact form, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
