MEET THE CALIFORNIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER TEAM

TAYLOR

(She/her)

Owner and primary lead photographer of tmInspired Photography. Taylor currently lives in Seattle, WA with her family. She and her husband work as a photography and videography team, spending their weekends traveling and documenting love stories around the world. Documenting weddings since high school, she recently celebrated 15 years of following her passion. She wouldn’t call herself a backpacker, but she does love a breathtaking view. Even the shadows of flowers on her curtains can captivate her. She loves to watch the way light whimsically dances around her for ages – which reflects why utilizing light is such a big part of her art.

Taylor built a team of personally vetted associate photographers who work under her brand. Whether you book Taylor directly, or choose a locally based associate photographer for your wedding day, Taylor will see through your entire project. She will still help craft photo-based timelines, discuss top priorities and connect you one-on-one with the associate paired with you on your day. She even handles all of the editing, so the photos you receive reflect the work you’ve seen in our combined portfolio.

Working with the team will feel like you’ve known us for years. We believe that your wedding day should feel like the most epic celebration of your love. The experience we provide our clients stand out from the rest.

AMANDA H.

(She/her)

Based in Southern California (Orange County, to be more specific!) Photography is Amanda’s creative dream come true. You may hear her yell “YAAASS!” more than once throughout your portrait session, and she’s a big fan of punny jokes. Around high school, Amanda found out for herself how important memories were. Not just the ones she was creating currently but the ones that she couldn’t get back. She realized that captured moments carry such a significance for her that she wanted other people to feel that way about their memories, too. Mom of 2 kids, she is used to finding the calm in the midst of chaos. Amanda believes that the unexpected moments can really make wedding photo galleries really special. Her all time favorite movies are Midnight in Paris and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Click here to view her tmInspired sample gallery.

AMANDA V.

(She/her)

Amanda lives in Arizona but serves the Southern California area often when she visits family and friends. Orange County is where she grew up and loves when work can bring her back to visit. She spent her childhood experiencing weddings through her mom’s eyes as a florist. Amanda loved seeing a wedding come to life from beginning to end. As she grew up, so did her own creativity. She always wanted to find an avenue that feeds her creative spirit and pursuing photography became an obvious choice for her. To this day, she still finds satisfaction in a wedding coming to life. Elegance and style is at the front of her mind. Mom of 3 kiddos, she is fueled by her sense of adventure and bottomless iced coffee. Click here to view her tmInspired sample gallery.

I fell in love with her photos early on

bride wearing Qipao kissing her groom in the vines of Temecula winery Danza del sol, California wedding photographer sun-kissed portraits

I had an incredibly meaningful experience with Taylor and her team. She was the photographer for my maid of honor 8 years ago. Taylor and her team were such a joy to work with and laugh with while getting ready. Amanda was so patient with me and some of my demanding family members who suddenly wanted their own portraits last minute. I appreciated her flexibility and prioritizing the shots I wanted so much. And they took hilarious photos of our dog in his tuxedo! She and Alyssa made me and my bridesmaids feel comfortable in front of the camera for portraits but really the magic for me was in their candid photos. I was absolutely blown away when we got out photos, and every one of my family and friends were stunned at how well emotions translated in these photos. My husband got teary eyed when we received our photos, and he’s not generally an emotional person.

I want to add that Taylor was so easy to work with and get in touch with throughout wedding planning. We planned our wedding in 6 months, and she was flexible and patient (even with my last addition of a second dress and dress change into the timeline a week before the wedding!). She’s not only professional but also a gem of an artist. If I had to pay 5x the price of her current rates, I would do it in a heartbeat. Worth every hard earned penny, and one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding day!

Communication was a breeze

couple poses for engagement session at artist point mount baker

I feel so lucky we found Taylor for our engagement and wedding photos! We knew we wanted to prioritize photography when we were planning everything and were so glad we took the time to find her. She was the first vendor we booked and by far the best part of our engagement and wedding planning! Besides being super talented, she is a wonderfully kind person, and an incredible professional. Invoicing/payment was very clear from the start and easy to complete, access to our galleries was very easy, and she was incredibly prompt with sending us sneak peeks and final albums. Communication was a breeze, she was clear and organized and gave us excellent tips for our wedding timeline. For anyone worried about looking stiff or not knowing what to do for their photos, Taylor will bring out those smiles and keep you comfortable. We will be reliving our wedding through these photos year after year!

I feel like I’m reliving the best day of my life over again

bride and groom snuggle in a flower field

Taylor’s associate Amanda were absolutely amazing! They captured our wedding day so beautifully and our photos came out way better than I could’ve ever imagined! They were exactly what I wanted and more! Every time I look at them I feel like I’m reliving the best day of my life over again. Taylor was so quick to respond to my questions and organize all the details which made everything so easy to plan. I was nervous about being in front of the camera but Amanda helped ease my nerves so much on the day in guiding us on what to do and it was such a fun experience doing the photo shoot after our ceremony at sunset cliffs. I definitely recommend Taylor and her team!!

Draped in Bloom ✨ What you don’t see: the scrambl Draped in Bloom ✨

What you don’t see: the scramble of wedding vendors working in the rain. Pivoting together to the best of our abilities to try to create magic from a collaborative vision. Cheering each other on and supporting one another in our art.

I’m always looking for ways to push myself creatively, and then sometimes Mother Nature decides to step in. 🫠 All week we had beautiful weather until the day of this day when it decided to just pour down rain. Not a part of the plan, but as a group of experienced wedding vendors, we knew how to make it work.

A little rain never hurt anybody - right? 😉

We love a Seattle courthouse elopement ✨
Becoming a better photographer is not what I expec Becoming a better photographer is not what I expected.

I thought becoming a better photographer meant more gear, more experience, more weddings under my belt. And sure, those things matter. But the stuff that actually changed how I work? It was quieter than that.

It was noticing the way shadows move across a curtain in the morning. Learning to see light before I ever pick up a camera.

It was recognizing who I’m actually for. Saying no to the wrong clients felt risky at first. But it made room for the ones where everything just clicks, and that’s when the best work happens.

It was finding people who love this work as much as I do. Photographers who want to talk about the craft, push each other, and love to think bigger.

It was learning how to lead. Building an associate team in 2020 meant I had to articulate things I’d always just felt intuitively. Putting that into words, into training, into trust, has made me a better photographer and a better collaborator.

It was getting in a room with florists and planners and designers outside of wedding days, just to create. Styled shoots showed me what my vendors are truly capable of, and that changes everything about how I collaborate on the real thing.

It was getting the business right. When communication, pricing, and contracts are solid, I show up on a wedding day with a clear head. The back end of this job has more impact on the work than most people want to admit.

It was staying curious. About the craft, about what inspires me outside of this industry, and about the people I photograph. The more I understand my clients and their guests, the more I can anticipate real moments before they happen. Knowing how to read people ended up being just as important as knowing how to read light.

And then there’s time. Not just years logged, but learning to get out of my own head. To stop second guessing the shot I already took and start trusting that my eye brought you there for a reason. That quiet confidence took longer to build than any technical skill.

Growth doesn’t always show itself in big milestones. It’s the unexpected moments that has shaped me the most.
Ambiance isn’t something you add at the end. It’s Ambiance isn’t something you add at the end.

It’s the millions of little decisions like hanging chandeliers instead of string lights. Or filling a tent with candlelight so warm it makes everyone look like they’re glowing.

It’s the thing guests can’t name but feel the moment they walk in.

When a room is designed with that kind of intention, it shows up in the photos. Not in an obvious way, just in the way everything feels a little more… alive.

If you’re building a wedding around how people will experience it, we’d love to be the ones trusted to document that experience.
