Re-planning your whole wedding is not a fun experience. Re-planning your wedding multiple times is even more stress-inducing! Because of the pandemic, Kaily and Kelsey pivoted their wedding celebration several times. They finally landed on an all-day elopement at their favorite place: Whidbey Island.
Whidbey Island Elopement
I asked Kaily and Kelsey to tell me some of the places they enjoyed spending their time together in Whidbey, and we made a full celebration out of it! We did their first look at the beautiful Meerkerk Gardens, and included their adorable pup Alfie in the celebration, too. They hired on Tosha to create a "reception" space for them on the beach to share a slice of pie and be surrounded by personal elements that really spoke to them and their relationship.
Despite all the changes and uncertainties, Kaily and Kelsey were able to create an experience that was meaningful to their history and journey as a couple. They were able to soak in some beautiful places along the way, too! That made this Whidbey Island elopement a relaxed, romantic, and effortless experience!
I love being a wedding photographer on Whidbey Island because of the way it can transform the day into something beautiful. Meerkerk Gardens, Coupeville Wharf, Fort Ebey State Park, and Ebey’s Landing are just a few of the places you can choose for an elopement in this gorgeous place.
