Robinswood House is such a great venue with a New England feel tucked amongst the trees in a Bellevue neighborhood. Subsequently, convenient and beautiful! Such a gem to find on the eastside. Additionally, being a wedding photographer in Seattle, I look for venues that make it easy on guests and couples to have both the aesthetic they want and convenience.

Expect the best, prepare for the worst

As a wedding photographer in Seattle and the greater PNW, I prepare for rain! Thankfully, Natalie, Harvey, and their wedding party made the best of the weather. From toughing out the drizzle to then partying under a tent, they stayed positive and everything turned out beautiful. I suggested everyone use their phones during the last dance, and shine their flashlights on the couple instead of doing a sparkler exit. Of course, the DJ Sounds Unlimited helped organize the crowd! As you can see, it created such a cool effect!

Finding the best spot for portraits

You’d never know we took their portraits just off a parking lot! As a Seattle wedding photographer, preparing and finding these special spots just around the corner from the venue made it feel isolated but very accessible for everyone. Overall, my goal is to give you a great backdrop that we don’t have to travel far to find. All in all, this ensures we stay on your timeline and have more time for couple’s portraits!

All the pretty details

The florals, designed by Anthera Floral, were whimsical, magical, and perfectly complemented this forest wedding. On top of that, Natalie and Harvey handmade the nameplates for everyone which were fern coasters. They were kind enough to let me take one home. I cherish all the gifts my couples give me! While it’s never necessary, I truly appreciate it!
