One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is how many different styles of weddings and events I get to be a part of. This first half of the year, our spring recap includes a 1920’s art deco wedding, whimsical garden wedding, a couple of elopements, and MV Skansonia wedding on Lake Union! Each one had a unique take, bringing together different versions of spring colors and vibes. Let’s take a small sneek peek at all the weddings my team has captured this year so far!
1920’s Art Deco Wedding
First up we had Nicole and Eddie at Imperia Lake Union for a 1920’s art deco wedding. We’ve gotten the opportunity to work at Imerpia before and it’s such a cool, unique venue near Lake Union. You can get so many cool feels within a short distance of the venue. Plus, they included such a bright array of florals that complemented the springtime. They also included a live painter at their wedding that added to the guest experience.

Whimsical Garden Wedding
If you’ve been around for a while, you know I love a whimsical garden wedding, especially one with colors like this one! Neah and Shawn brought all the spring pastels, stunning romantic florals, and such a great crew. They chose to celebrate their day at Genesis Gardens in Enumclaw, Washington. Genesis Farm and Gardens is an affordable, romantic gardenscape close to Seattle and can accommodate up to 150 people. Perfect for spring weddings. Not to metnion they had the coolest cake! It was made to look like logs stacked on top of each other. Magical and whimsical to the max.

Cannon Beach Elopement
My associate Kris shot Marley and Tim’s misty Cannon Beach elopement. Despite the fog, these two were not going to be deterred from featuring springtime magic. Tim wore a colorful floral tie coupled with the sweetest dried floral pocket square. And Marley dressed up in a sweet floral dress and pink wrap that looked so pretty against the foggy beach day. It was the perfect blend of springtime and foggyromance for their Cannon Beach Elopement.

Sun-Kissed Elopement in Wenatchee
The wind and the venue were paid actors for this Wenatchee elopement as you can see below. Earthlight Villas is a stunning modern home overlooking the gorge. Cassidy and Collin had their ceremony overlooking the beautiful vista with their closest people in attendance. Afterwards, they shared in a Chinese tea ceremony where they present tea to their family and friends. Of course, we made all the time for stunning sunset portraits and the wind really showed up to make it even more epic.

MV Skansonia Wedding on Lake Union
We’re lucky enough to be at MV Skansonia five times this year! Such a fun opportunity to see the venue in a bunch of different ways and get creative with our shots! Rachel and Michael brought a tender and dynamic spring vibe to the day with pink and navy blue with gold accents. We loved these detail touches to the day. Plus, we took the short jaunt down to Gas Works Park to do their first look and some portraits which really added another layer to the wedding day on Lake Union.

We hope you enjoyed this little look into the first have our season! If you’re planning your wedding for 2026 and beyond, let’s chat!
