Weddings in the LA area make me so excited! The promise of a sunny, warm, and vibrant celebration can make your wedding here a dreamy, perfect experience. But of course, with the area being so expansive, there are an actual ton of options when it comes to Los Angeles wedding venues! I’m going to give you some information about the vibe, guest capacity, and more for my favorite venues in the Los Angeles area.

Los Angeles Wedding Venues: LA
Honeypot LA
The Vibe: A modern and open floor plan. This is a warehouse venue with tons of natural light, high ceilings, and great acoustics for your musical needs!
Location: The South Park District in downtown LA, near several great hotels.
Capacity: 175 guests.
The Los Angeles Athletic Club
The Vibe: An elegant banquet hall with the largest rooftop venue space in all of downtown LA! An onsite hotel and dreamy views of the city make this a gorgeous urban venue.
Location: A block away from Pershing Square in the Historic Broadway Theater District of DTLA.
Capacity: 500 standing, 250 seated.
The Oviatt
The Vibe: Full of old-world charm! Originally a lavish penthouse, it’s now a stunning rooftop venue with penthouse rooms you can use, in addition to the terraced rooftop space.
Location: Adjacent to Pershing Square in downtown LA.
Capacity: 125 guests.
The Houdini Estate
The Vibe: Lavish and decadent decor on 5 acres of garden and greenery! There’s a waterfall, a gazebo, and so much more. There are flexible indoor or outdoor options for your ceremony and reception.
Location: Laurel Canyon.
Capacity: 1,500 guests.
Hudson Loft
The Vibe: A historic, landmark building that can offer you a penthouse or rooftop venue, and a more warehouse industrial feel if that’s more your style!
Location: South Park District in DTLA.
Capacity: 300 guests.
Valentine DTLA
The Vibe: Sun-lit garden rooms with specialty artwork and a rustic feel. This is an industrial space renovated to be a dramatic, luxurious greenhouse!
Location: DTLA between the Toy and Arts Districts.
Capacity: 550 guests (may be more limited for ceremonies than receptions).
Seventh Place
The Vibe: Warehouse industrial with a beautiful outdoor patio and lots of greenery. High lofted ceilings and wood features!
Location: The Arts District in DTLA.
Capacity: 550 standing, 250 seated.
Mountaingate Country Club
The Vibe: Scenic, outdoor venue with lots of fresh air and panoramic views. Explore waterfalls, tropical gardens, and lots and lots of rolling hills.
Location: Bel Air/Brentwood.
Capacity: 250 indoors, 350 outdoors for ceremonies.
The Fig House
The Vibe: A mid-century, modern glamor look with super colorful indoor spaces and lush garden outdoor spaces. You’ll find a contemporary spin on the art-deco style, and some gorgeous stained-glass windows.
Location: Highland Park.
Capacity: 200 guests.
Carondelet House
The Vibe: Absolutely stylish! Fresco ceilings, rich decor, vintage looks, and a baby grand piano for serenades!
Location: MacArthur Park in DTLA.
Capacity: Maximum 150-220 guests.
Grass Room
The Vibe: A dramatic greenhouse, jungle feel! This space was built with eco-consciousness in mind; materials were repurposed to renovate the space, and it’s fully energy efficient!
Location: DTLA between the Toy and Arts Districts (a sister space to Valentine DTLA).
Capacity: 75-150 maximum.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Hollywood
Madera Kitchen
The Vibe: A bohemian restaurant venue with a natural, slightly rustic feel. The greenhouse-style glass ceiling is to die for!
In the Area: Minutes away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Cahuenga Blvd!
Capacity: 400 guests.
The Garland Hotel
The Vibe: A chic Hollywood setting! You can have a more lavish celebration in the Garland Ballroom or an intimate outdoor gathering in Beverly Park.
In the Area: In North Hollywood, this hotel is right near the Los Angeles River, Universal Studios, and CityWalk.
Capacity: 300 guests.
The London
The Vibe: You have tons of options here! An English-style urban garden, an elegant ballroom, a rooftop terrace, or a chic penthouse suite can serve as your perfect Los Angeles wedding venue.
In the Area: In West Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard is just up the block, where you’ll find a lot of amazing restaurants and bars to check out.

V&E Historic Mansion
The Vibe: A jazzed-up Great Gatsby celebration! Topiaries, lavender gardens, rich greenery against the grand house. Plus, a sweeping courtyard for a lavish reception.
In the Area: Upscale shopping on Rodeo Drive, more to explore at Beverly Gardens Park, and more!
Capacity: 150 guests.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Redondo Beach
Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach Marina Hotel
The Vibe: Outdoor ocean views or elegant indoor ballrooms, you can have it all here for an oceanside, sun-soaked ceremony.
In the Area: The ocean just a few steps away, Redondo Beach Pier, and recreation like surfing and fishing.

Santa Monica Proper Hotel

The Vibe: Another gorgeous beachfront venue a few stories above the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Swaying palm trees, the sun and the sand, what more could you ask for?

Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Malibu
Malibu Rocky Oaks
The Vibe: An Italian-countryside inspired vineyard setting, complete with a Tuscan villa and award-winning wines! This venue is perfect for an elegant, sophisticated wedding.
In the Area: This vineyard is nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, and has gorgeous views.
Capacity: 180 seated, 400 standing.
Malibu West Beach Club
The Vibe: A quintessential Southern California experience! Oceanfront views and golden sunsets are waiting for you here.
In the Area: Zuma Beach and Broad Beach, Mulholland Highway, and the Malibu Pier.
Capacity: 250 guests.
The Malibu Garden Estate
The Vibe: A Spanish-inspired villa with views of the coastline, the mountains, and the canyon. Beautiful gardens and a pool here are the perfect setting for your ceremony and a luxury reception!

Calamigos Ranch
The Vibe: A rustic, charming ranch setting. Waterfalls, flowing greenery, and fairy lights overhead, this is a magical wedding destination for a fairytale experience.
In the Area: Mulholland Highway just a stone’s throw away, and a ton of hikes around the Malibu area.
Capacity: 500 guests.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Topanga Canyon
The 1909
The Vibe: Rustic, relaxed, and quiet. The 1909 has majestic oak trees, glittering lights, and lots of fresh air. You can get married in the meadow, amphitheater, or indoor ballroom.
In the Area: The Topanga Canyon Scenic route for a relaxing drive, and the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum performing arts center are close by.
Capacity: 90–150 guest maximum.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Rancho Palos Verdes
Palos Verdes Golf Club
The Vibe: The clubhouse is Spanish-style, and you can have an elegant and scenic wedding here! Tucked away from the city bustle for a more private, relaxed experience.
In the Area: The beaches are just a quick drive away!
Capacity: 300 guests.
Terranea Resort
The Vibe: A cliffside ocean wedding! You can have your ceremony right on the bluffs, or in the ballrooms.
In the Area: A golf course, spa, and tons of beaches!
Capacity: Over 1,000 guests can be accommodated.
Wayfarers Chapel
The Vibe: Nestled on the coast among redwood trees, this is a quaint little chapel setting that can accommodate any faith or no faith, and they’re LGBTQ+ friendly.
In the Area: Abalone Cove and the Catalina View Gardens.
Capacity: 100 guests (this includes your wedding party).
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Thousand Oaks
Los Robles Greens
The Vibe: A scenic country club with great mountain views and nice fresh air from the coast! This venue is open-concept to help you create something truly unique.
In the Area: Lots of hiking trails nearby, and the city of Thousand Oaks is just across the freeway.
Capacity: 400 guests.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Pasadena
Brookside Golf Club
The Vibe: Versatility is the name of the game here. You can go elegant in the Mediterranean Ballroom, or cozy in one of the smaller spaces. There’s also a patio for beautiful outdoor celebrations.
In the Area: There are lots of parks and trailheads close by Brookside for more outdoor adventures!
Capacity: 125-250 guests depending on the specific space you book.
Tyler Property Rentals
The Vibe: A private Italian-inspired home that feels like a Tuscan villa! This place is full of European charm, as well as a rose garden and a tea house.
In the Area: South Pasadena has plenty of parks, golf courses, and shopping! Plus, it’s just a quick drive into LA proper for more fun.
Capacity: 250 guests.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Pomona
Coco Palms Restaurant
The Vibe: The picture of elegance! Coco Palms is based in Cuban traditions, which is a delicious bonus for your wedding food!
In the Area: The LA County Fair is close by, as well as Raging Waters, a fun theme park if you’re looking to cool off on a hot wedding day.😉
Capacity: 250 guests.
Los Angeles Wedding Venues: Claremont
The Padua Hills Theatre
The Vibe: Enchanted forest! Their terrace gives an amazing view of the sunset, and has lots of old-world charm.
In the Area: Lots of mountains and trails! (Including one called Potato Mountain. LOL!)
Capacity: 370 guests.
