A St Louis wedding with a little Lord of the Rings thrown in? I’m all for it! Sarah and Isaiah took it to a whole new level with their subtle LOTR theme, and let me let you, no one was mad about it.
I’ve actually known Isaiah for quite some time, so it was such a privilege to be there for him and Sarah’s wedding. We met years ago when we were both working at Starbucks, and actually have the same birthday, down to the year and everything. So naturally, we call ourselves twins! When they reached out to me awhile back, I was more than happy to book my plane ticket for St. Louis.
While Sarah was getting ready in her suite at Stone House of St. Charles, I couldn’t help but be in awe of how beautiful she looked. She couldn’t have looked more like a princess, and of course her bridesmaids looked stunning as well in their emerald green dresses.
One of my favorite moments on their day was their first look. When Isaiah set eyes on Sarah, it was game over. The way he looked at her absolutely melted my heart! It was so heartwarming to see someone I’ve known for so long look so happy on their special day.
Going back to the theme of the wedding - I & S fused their love of Lord of the Rings into their decor and it looked amazing. They integrated emerald green touches which tied everything together and definitely elevated the space. Their signage including the font used for LOTR even caught the eye of those viewing my behind the scenes on my Instagram stories - everyone immediately recognized it. Which obviously means they're true fans, right?
After their ceremony at Immaculate Conception Church, we were able to take lots of portraits and wedding party photos! We even snapped some shots on a nearby swing, which again somehow matched the theme perfectly. Once we got to the reception at Stone House of St. Charles, I couldn’t wait to get detail shots of all the gorgeous decor. I & S had the head table all to themselves, complete with romantic candles and a fireplace right behind them.
