PNW Forest Elopement in Olympia

I'm all about transparency so I'll be honest here, this isn't a real elopement. For their third wedding anniversary, Adrienne and Spencer wore their wedding attire to a couples session with me. It seemed only fitting to work this blog around the vibe, you know what I mean? I mean... They had "PNW Forest Elopement in Olympia" vibes written ALL OVER THEM. I know you get it.

So many snuggles. So much joy. Limitless love.

ANYWAY. Even though it's not an official styled shoot, or an official elopement, I'm obsessed with this anniversary session. It's perfectly "them," which is what I always strive for when working with any couple who trusts me to document milestones like this.

I took them to a spot in Olympia, WA called Millersylvania State Park. I had never been there before so while we're being really real here, I was just winging it, haha.

Along the trails, we were greeted with incredible sunlight throughout their session. Watch how it's peeking through the trees, dancing along the deep green leaves. They shared a cute little "anniversary dance" along the water.

While we're on the topic of honesty. I think that an elopement can be wildly romantic wherever you choose to go. As long as you have each other, what else really matters? Trust your photographer, friends, that's all I gotta say. Well just kidding, I totally have more to say than that, but I'll go ahead and let the photos speak for themselves now.
