Lerin and Shawn are a couple who share a love for travel and photography. In every location they visit, they hire a photography to capture the memory for them! Kind of like Nathan and I do! Their recent adventure led them to Washington, and as a North Cascade engagement photographer, I knew the perfect places to take them.

North Cascade Engagement Photographer

The North Cascades are known for their breathtaking beauty and vast amount of options for engagement photographers. Also, the region offers an abundance of natural landscapes, including lakes, mountains, and forests, making it a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts and photographers alike. Plus, there are a lot of accessible areas so even if you’re not up for a hike, we can still find beautiful locations.

I met Lerin and Shawn at Diablo Lake, a picturesque location with crystal clear turquoise waters. The vibrant colors of the lake were even more stunning in person! I mean, come on, have you seen those colors?! I worked my magic and captured some amazing shots of the couple against the stunning backdrop of the lake.

Finding the best random locations!

After spending some time at Diablo Lake, we drove up to a trail they had found on YouTube. It promised incredible sunset views! I love exploring different areas, and doing some deep dives on the internet to find them. As we hiked up the trail, breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and forests greeted us. I don't know about you, but I could stare at that view all day long. The golden hour light added a beautiful warmth to the photos, and I took note for any future North Cascades engagement photo sessions.
