It was so fun to be a Jardin del Sol wedding photographer for Jing and Terrence. We had such a good time at their sunrise engagement session at Artist Point on Mount Baker. I knew they would bring the same energy and adventure to their wedding day. And, of course, they’d bring their cutie dog Chewie.
Your Dog as Star of the Show
From the start, Jing and Terrence were clear about their goals for the day. They wanted a celebration that felt joyful, relaxed, and true to who they are. Community mattered. Playfulness mattered. And yes, their dog Chewie mattered a lot. Chewie was absolutely the star of the show, complete with a treat station, custom balloons, and cocktail napkins designed just for her. At one point they laughed and admitted they had to rein themselves in, reminding each other that while Chewie is beloved, the wedding day was about them. But, hello, we love a doggie moment!

Their wedding took place at Jardin del Sol, a garden venue tucked into Snohomish that feels intimate and welcoming the moment you arrive. The grounds are filled with greenery, open pathways, and soft natural light that make it ideal for couples who want an outdoor feel without sacrificing comfort or flow. The space allowed guests to move easily between moments, whether gathering for the ceremony, mingling during cocktail hour, or celebrating on the dance floor.
