Court in the Square Proposal

Esha and Zora, a couple from New York City, came to Seattle to reunite with family during the holiday season. Little did Esha know, this trip would mark a significant moment in their lives as Zora had a proposal planned. Recognizing the unpredictability of Pacific Northwest winter weather, Zora enlisted my help to find the perfect indoor location to pop the question and capture the magic. After careful consideration, we chose the enchanting Court in the Square, situated in the heart of the historic Pioneer Square.

This stunning venue, nestled between charming brick buildings, boasts a unique feature! It has a retractable roof, offering the best of both indoor and outdoor settings. It’s also such a cool building on the inside, looking almost like the outdoors inside! On the day of the proposal, luck was on our side. And, we seized the opportunity to ascend to the roof for some additional photographs, basking in the unexpected Seattle sunshine. Against the backdrop of Court in the Square, Zora asked Esha for her hand in marriage. Of course, she said yes!

Bring Family to Your Proposal

To add an extra layer of surprise, we arranged for their family to join us for a few group photos before the couple headed off for a celebratory dinner. This can be a nice touch to any proposal–getting the opportunity to take family portraits after such a great event. So glad that Zora and Esha got to spend the rest of the holidays with their family. Of course, they also celebrated their new engagement.
