Angela and Tim travelled in from Arizona to the place where they first met - Laguna Beach. It was important to them that their session took place in a place that held meaning. My heart is drawn to this, as well. I feel like it's easier for the couple to feel comfortable in a space that they can call their own. Nathan and I met them for their photo/video engagement session at Aliso Creek Beach in Laguna Beach, CA.

Angela started the session with a killer two-piece mustard yellow dress from Anthropologie. And umm can I be honest? I am now kicking myself that I didn't buy it for myself when I had the chance. I loved how his red plaid shirt and her yellow dress gave us so much contrast against the blue sky. Also - can we talk about her red lipstick for a sec? Bold and beautiful. I'm here for it.

As the sun set a bit more they changed outfits. Outfit changes are great because you can get an entirely different vibe during your session. A lot more variety, too. Angela opted for a short white dress with blue embroidery. Complimenting Tim's blue button down shirt.

Soaking up the sunset, playing in the ocean, making out any chance you get. What more could you want from an engagement session? Haha

Their love radiates so much light. I'm grateful that my job brings incredible people my way. The fact that I get to enter into milestones like this with so many couples is just amazing. Nothing fuels my soul with more joy than celebrating love.
