Foster City Intimate Wedding Photographer. An elopement just outside of San Francisco.
Angie and Lex reached out to me to document their elopement in Foster City, just outside of San Francisco. I was so excited when they invited me into their planning process. We were able to virtually find places of where we could take photos following their intimate ceremony.
Their ceremony took place with immediate family members and their officiant. We were all in the gazebo overlooking the water at Leo J Ryan Park. The weather that day was back and forth with us, and ended up sprinkling right at the end of their portraits. During their sweet ceremony, we had beautiful overcast skies with no rain!
The guests left for dinner after the ceremony and some family portraits. I ventured off with the couple for a nearby lookout of the city we had found in our search. Oh my goodness, those views! There is nothing quite like a San Francisco elopement.
The next day, we met up again for some day-after photos in Muir Woods (you can see the photos here). This is the day where the weather decided to be pouring rain ALL DAY. They were literally drenched, but absolutely stoked about the photos, just as much as I was! Basically, we all agreed that their two day celebration was the most romantic way to celebrate their love story.
