PNW Beach Elopement Photographer

This elopement has been featured in Seattle Bride's Real Weddings.

I teamed up with Kate of Tapestry Event Company for Taylor and Ryan's incredible PNW Beach Elopement at Cape Disappointment. These two have a love for travel and all things outdoors. We chose a private space for their intimate ceremony, and kept the decorations simple, utilizing the natural elements of the coast as their primary decor.

The talented team of PNW vendors took elements from their personal relationships and included them in the elopement space. Oh Hey Face and Tapestry Event Company connected with the couple and chose to highlight the words that define all of the strength found in their relationship, compassion, forgiveness, loyalty, being just a few, as well as the names of their dogs, Piper and Mya. They created resin panels to set in the sand to surround them in their ceremony space, tucked between the gorgeous wildflower arrangements provided by Wildflower + Co., based out of Tacoma, WA.

Wind and movement were an inspiration for decor, as Taylor is a flight attendant. Pops of the color coral were infused in the design as well, to represent Ryan's dream of becoming a firefighter. Lady Grey created a whimsical and unique cake design including coral ribbons, and Oh Hey Face was inspired to make a banner with the quote, "I will be the breeze behind you and beneath you to push you forward and lift you up."

Taylor got her hair and makeup done at home by Amelia Zaborac before driving to the beach. After they arrived and we all shared big hugs, she changed into an absolutely stunning Daci Gown. With its pastel color palette and separated panels, this dress moved in the wind so effortlessly and was a dream to photograph.
