Seattle Photographer Creating Intentional Images for Joyful Soulmates

Hi, I’m Taylor.

I’m a photographer who believes photos are about moments, not poses. When you’re with your people, you want to soak up the heartfelt words and touches. We all love a beautiful floral installation, but that’s not really what your wedding (or proposal or family session) is about.

It’s about celebrating your relationships. It’s about having fun and stepping into your legacy.

As your Seattle photographer, I’ll document those breathtaking moments with timeless images. Forget chasing trends. Let’s create photos that capture your unique magic.

This moment, this experience is for living. I can’t wait to step into this journey with you.

Get to know your Seattle photographer!

  • I split my time between the PNW and Orange County, California.
My husband, Nathan, and I are from SoCal. Moving to Washington has been such an adventure. How could I not fall in love with the dramatic mountains and the moody light on the Puget Sound? The endless places to explore are a big reason I love photographing proposals and weddings. Well, that and the sweep-you-off-your-feet romance.
  • I’m a picky-eater-turned-foodie.
Growing up, I would only eat a handful of things. Then I met my husband’s family. They were such adventurous eaters that it actually made me nervous. Eventually, they won me over. Now Nathan and I spend time seeking out new restaurants with cool vibes. Ask me for a rec in your city!
  • Nature inspires me endlessly.
I wouldn’t call myself a backpacker, but I love a breathtaking view. Even the shadows of flowers on my curtains can captivate me. Add some prism window clings to the mix? It’s all over. I’ll watch the way light whimsically dances around me for ages. That’s why it’s such a big part of my photography.
  • We’re proud pawrents.
Nathan and I have always been animal lovers. Our dog Daisy is a fluffy ball of endless energy. I don’t know what we’d do without her goofy antics and soft snuggles. Needless to say, you should absolutely bring your pet to our session.

Unwavering dedication to your love story

In a lot of ways, my approach to being a Seattle photographer is rooted in my own story. Nathan and I met in high school in Orange County, California. Life threw us quite a few curveballs – including a wildfire that forced us to relocate our wedding at the last minute. Through it all, we remained intentional about our relationship. And we have an awful lot of fun together.

Now we’re lucky enough to work as a Seattle photographer and videographer team. We get to travel the world documenting soulmates celebrating their love in front of their most important people. We feel so lucky that this is our job.

When I’m your Seattle photographer, I’ll bring my signature sense of playfulness and gratitude to your images.

Guess who’s back? 🙋‍♀️ Motherhood is a mix of ev Guess who’s back?

🙋‍♀️

Motherhood is a mix of every day feeling long and slow along with every day flying by so fast, I can barely keep up with the changes. It’s rewarding and overwhelming and scary and magical all at once.

My maternity leave has officially ended and though I truly am sad to not sit and stare at my little guy’s face 24/7, it also feels really good to work again.

Like a piece of me has been found once again.

But now I’m feeling rejuvenated, reinspired (get it?), and my brain is so full of soooo many ideas. ✨

I had never ever ever gone this long without working (seriously, I’ve been a business owner since I was 16 years old). 6 months off has felt like a lifetime for me lol.

I can’t wait to see what we get to create together in the season ahead. ✨

Photos by @marisarosephoto, edits by me (+ so many more, I haven’t even had a chance to go through yet because they’re all my favorites and stopping me in my tracks. I’m a mom, guys. What?? 🥹)

Since it’s booking season and I’ve been having a l Since it’s booking season and I’ve been having a lot of conversations with couples, I thought this would be a helpful topic to share.

There are no wrong questions to ask, but the best questions come from understanding what actually matters to you and your experience.

Choosing a wedding photographer is a big decision. You are trusting someone to document not just how your day looks, but how it feels. The right fit should feel both aligned and grounded in real experience.

Here’s what I’d be asking if I were booking a photographer today (from someone who is also a photographer):

- What is your approach to a wedding day and timeline?
- Can I see a few full wedding galleries that are similar to my venue or has similar lighting/other elements?
- What does your backup system look like for files and gear?
- How do you prepare for a new venue you have not photographed before?
- What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
- What does your communication look like leading up to the wedding day?
- How involved are you in timeline planning or refining?
- What do you do if the timeline runs behind?
- How do you guide couples in front of your camera?
- How do you approach family photos?
- How do you work alongside videographers?
- How do you handle unexpected changes or weather?
- How do you help couples feel comfortable and present throughout the day?
- What moments do you naturally look for and prioritize?
- What can I expect in terms of deliverables (including turnaround timing)?
- What makes a wedding day feel successful to you as a photographer?

Of course, you don’t need to ask all of these. But questions like these tend to reveal how a photographer thinks, how they work, and how they will show up for you.

And that matters more than anything.

➡️ save for later or share with a friend who is planning their wedding!
When your wedding gallery tells your love story wi When your wedding gallery tells your love story without saying a word: Part one (getting ready, first look, semi-private vows).

This is the heart of what we do. Over the years, we have had the honor of documenting so many different stories, and no two have ever felt the same. Every couple brings something uniquely their own, and my team and I are always paying attention to what makes their connection feel real.

Our approach leans documentary, but it is never hands off. Our focus for every wedding: guide when it matters, find good light, create space for privacy, allow moments to unfold naturally without interruption, and to be intentional in every moment. We’re not here to tell you what to do - we are here to help bring your story to the surface.

As Seattle wedding photographers, this is what we care about most. Not just how your day looks, but how it FEELS when you are living it.

Mini sessions are one of my favorite ways to capture your story. They are quick, relaxed, and so much fun, giving you beautiful photos without needing to plan a full session. It’s a sweet little way to document this season of life and create memories you’ll look back on for years to come. ✨

W.W. Seymour Conservatory (Tacoma, WA - Mar 22): Lush greenery and soft light, a secret garden vibe for playful, romantic shots.

Pike Place Market (Seattle, WA - Mar 29): Colorful, lively, and full of urban energy, perfect for candid, joyful moments.

Disneyland (Anaheim, CA - Apr 8 & 9): Whimsical and magical, a totally unique setting for unforgettable photos.

Thomas Riley Wilderness Park (Orange County, CA - Apr 12): Natural light, open fields, and serene vibes for organic, heartfelt images.

Mother’s Day Minis (@the701studios, Seattle, WA - Apr 25): Celebrate love and connection with optional florals and 35mm film for extra charm.
It’s been a while since I’ve shown up consistently It’s been a while since I’ve shown up consistently on social media. A lot has changed, but I’m still me. I’m still photographing weddings, I’m a wife, a first time mom, and I’m seeking out the things that spark joy. I’m going to work on showing up more because I miss my community we built here. ✨ Tell me, what’s new with you?
