If you don’t already listen to Jenna Kutcher’s Goal Digger podcast, I highly recommend you start. She talks about email marketing OFTEN and shares a lot of the benefits to adding this to your process.

✨ A client allowing you to have space in their personal email inbox is INVALUABLE. ✨

Instead of a social media post that gets lost in the noise, marketing directly to your potential clients email inboxes is a really personal and more concrete way to connect.

I’ll also be totally honest: I’m not good at this. Lol. 😂🫠 I see the value but I personally only do this quarterly to help me market my family mini sessions. HOWEVER I’m working to get better at it.

My example to myself is my mini session marketing. I booked 5 within an hour of sending the email out. 😏 Specifically from people who aren’t as active on social as I am lol. Think of the people who are missing your posts due to the algorithm!

‼️ It’s important to not make it spammy. There’s a delicate balance of sending out initial promos, reminders, last calls, etc. Personally, if I hear from someone everyday, I get annoyed and unsubscribe. 🙈

Make sure that what you’re sending to them is valuable content. OUTSIDE of what they might already read on social. What can you share that feels like an insider exclusive only subscribers get access to? 😏

Start building your list today! Some great tools to use for email marketing are: mail chimp, constant contact, and flodesk.
