Tam and Jonathan planned for a non-traditional wedding to celebrate their love with their close family and friends, who all live in Southern California. While Tam was finishing up her 4th year of medical school in New York City, they did all of their destination wedding planning from NYC for their wedding day. They wanted a simple, no fuss wedding that was a true representation of who they are. I think that’s exactly what took place. :)
Their ceremony was at the beautiful Oak Canyon Nature Center, followed by a brunch at Orange Hill Restaurant. They kept their ceremony space simple by adding in eucalyptus to the natural beauty and decor the Nature Center provides. They brought the eucalyptus to the reception with them where they also included gold accents throughout the room, which automatically made the space feel warm and inviting, complimenting the vibe they were going for.
I couldn’t wait for their wedding day throughout the planning process, and I’d get giddy each time we would discuss additional details. I had the best time getting to know these two and a wonderful time hanging out with them and documenting their love. I appreciate that they trusted my creative vision and documentary style. Congratulations, Tam and Jonathan! I’m so happy for you both. Thank you for having me be a part!
