The day after their actual intimate wedding/elopement (you can see those photos here), I met up with Angie and Lex for more portraits in Muir Woods. It was POURING rain – I don’t think I’ve ever been so soaked at the end of a session, but boy, were these two worth it. We had SO much fun exploring the woods and having them dance together in the rain. We ended their session at Baker Beach with a foggy and rainy view of the Golden Gate Bridge. This couple¬†is so full of life!! They were a joy to work with.

For those looking to get married soon or possibly eloping – I just want to take a minute to encourage you. You have the power to make your wedding day whatever YOU want it to be. Think about what you two love as a couple, how you envision your wedding day, and take all of the unsolicited advice with a grain of salt. I could talk about it all day, honestly, but simply put: Your wedding day is about YOU. It’s about how far you’ve come, individually and as a couple. Your wedding day is about a commitment you’re making for one another, and is a celebration of what’s to come.

These two embraced that with open arms, and I’m so happy that they included me in their celebration.
