One of my favorite things about elopements is that it can be whatever you want it to be. You can head to El Matador beach at sunset for your ceremony, surrounded by your closest family and friends. You can have one of your sons walk you down the aisle, and both of your sons to hang onto your rings for when you exchange them during the ceremony. You can wear a gorgeous blush, beaded dress. You can write your own personal vows for one another. You can ask a guitarist to join you, to play music during your ceremony and family portraits. You can have your first dance on the beach as the ocean washes over your feet. That’s what Jessica and Josh decided to do, and I’m so honored they asked me to be a part.
